Meet the founder

Yuhan Cruz is the founder and creator of A Space. A student-athlete at Scarsdale High School, he designed, built, and wrote the program from the ground up — the curriculum, the quizzes, and the platform itself — to help teammates recognize when someone is struggling and respond in a way that genuinely helps.

In his words:“I built A Space because I saw how much pressure student-athletes carry, and how often we freeze up when a teammate is going through something. A Space gives every athlete a simple, trusted way to show up for each other — and to know when to bring in an adult who can really help.”
